Find undersized source images
A feed can still reference an old thumbnail even when the storefront displays a larger asset.
Free tool · Google Merchant Center
Google says product images must be at least 500×500 pixels across all categories from 31 January 2027. Paste a public image URL to measure the actual file Google can fetch.
What this checks
CommerceVigil measures the returned image itself: HTTP accessibility, real pixel dimensions, supported readable format, file size, total megapixels, the 500×500 minimum, and Google's 1500×1500 recommendation.
A passing result does not guarantee Merchant Center approval. This checker does not judge whether the product fills the frame correctly, whether promotional text or watermarks are present, whether the image accurately represents the product, or whether Google can crawl every image in your feed.

Why check now?
A feed can still reference an old thumbnail even when the storefront displays a larger asset.
Submit a genuinely higher-resolution image instead of merely stretching a small thumbnail.
After updating the source, allow Merchant Center time to fetch and process the new image.
